HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Interested in joining SAIL programs? Consider joining our summer cohort. Details below!

  • Over the course of eight weeks, students will participate in education sessions, where they will explore issues related to social justice and community wellbeing, and in researching sessions, where they will learn research literacy skills, and work on a research paper which synthesizes current literature that relates to their volunteering experience along with their own experiences and those of community members that they interview.

  • SAIL 2023 will begin the week of June 12 to June 16, where students will participate in an orientation session and a 1 on 1 session to arrange their volunteering position logistics.

  • Between June 19 and August 11, students will participate in 8 weeks of the program. Each week will consist of 1 1.5 hour education session, 1 1.5 hour research project working session, and additional college application support workshops.
